When I try it in 3DS program, some of the parts are always missing. After he uses a converter, then he can view them in any of those programs. This is true for all my models made in Wings 3D.Ī friend of mine says that some of the models which I send to him from Wings 3D as 3ds file will not open in 3DS program and other programs which he uses. Wings 3D is a great program!Īfter I make a complete model in Wings 3D with UV map and textures, I export it in a 3ds file for someone else to take it from there. I have made well over 100 models so far with it. Wings 3D is all I use for the 3D creating, UV mapping, and texture applying of a model.
